HOLLYWOOD, FL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (Ethicon) today announced the launch of HARMONIC ACE® 7 scissors (HARMONIC ACE® 7) with advanced hemostatic function. The first model has a 7 mm seal indicator. HARMONIC ACE® 7 combines the precision and versatility that HARMONIC® expects with reliable sealing of large blood vessels; a combination of advantages not present in any other product represents a real breakthrough in ultrasonic energy technology.

The new device will be unveiled this week at the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) annual scientific conference in Hollywood, Florida.

HARMONIC ACE® 7 demonstrates greater vascular sealing strength by using advanced hemostasis modes, setting a new standard for ultrasound energy. Bench test shows:
